About our redevelopment

The state-of-the-art New Bankstown Hospital will help meet the growing healthcare needs of the community, which is expected to grow to nearly half a million people by 2036.
The project will provide more services closer to home, and create job opportunities in construction, healthcare and research.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, particularly the Cabrogal Clan of the Darug Nation upon whose lands our hospital is built, and their connections to land, water and community.
